Temporary Housing
When you are first arrivinig at the University of Maryland, you might not have your apartment or room in a house rented, so you need a temporary place to stay. Below you will find a list of some places around the University, College Park, and Washington DC that provide housing for a few days or a few weeks.

Each room has a mini refrigerator; a microwave and coffeepot are in the hall. Children are not allowed. Credit cards are not accepted.

- 5 rooms are available with space for 12 guests. Cost is $30 per person per night or $190 per week, and guests share bathroom facilities. The maximum length of stay is two weeks for international guests and one week for U.S. residents. Reservations are recommended.

Most of our guests are visiting MBA and PhD canidates interviewing at University of Maryland and National Archives researchers doing short term intense study . Norwich House maintains an academic environment. Reservations are necessary.
