New website features

Along with the launch of the online Event Funding Request system are several other improvements. Most importantly is the full introduction of the student login and suggestion pages. If you'd like to comment on the changes, please drop us a line!

Improvements

• A more detailed list of associated and related material is now available in most new News items and Events. This will help you find related materials quickly to the topic at hand. Notice the column on the right!
• The student pages are now available for you to suggest an Event that the GSG has missed or a News item that you think should be included on the front page.
• The online Event Funding Request (EFR) system is run through the same student pages.

Upcoming Improvements

•  Soon you will easily be able to share Events and News amongst your friends using Facebook, LinkedIn, or countless other social networking tools.
• You will also be able to add Events to your personal calendar, whether you use Google Calendar(tm), Yahoo! Calendar (tm), iCal, or Outlook.
• Graduate Student Spotlights, an initiative of the Academic Affairs Committee, are also coming up.
